The premise

Buy one Fressko Camino. Use it every day. Log anything that goes wrong. See what the "buy it for life" claim actually looks like in the real world.

Month 1-3

Nothing. Washed daily, dishwasher weekly. Zero staining.

Month 4

Dropped on a tiled floor from café-counter height. Sleeve saved the glass. No damage.

Month 6

First faint milk smell after a week of neglected weekend use. Baking-soda soak (1 tsp in warm water, 20 min). Gone.

Month 9

Lid gasket looking slightly compressed. Ordered a replacement (AUD $6). Two-minute swap.

Month 12

Still going. Same glass, new lid gasket. Still my most-used cup.

What we learned

• The dishwasher is fine. Top rack only, and don't dry on high heat.
• The lid gasket is a service part. Budget one every 12-18 months.
• A sleeve is not decoration. It is the reason your glass survives.

The maths

One Camino ($40) plus one replacement gasket ($6) = $46 over a year. Compared to ~$1,000 in paper cups if you buy a daily takeaway coffee. The reusable cup case has never been about single purchases.
