Why refillable pods matter

Aluminium pods are recyclable in theory and rarely recycled in practice — Nespresso's own most-recent global figure is about 30% collection. A single stainless capsule replaces roughly 3,000 single-use pods over its useful life. That is meaningful even before you count the coffee you like better because you chose the beans.

The three you should actually consider

1. Sealpod — the daily driver. Fits every original-line machine, uses a thin foil lid (paper lids sold separately), and forgives a slightly coarser grind than the others.
2. WayCap Basic — Italian-made, no lid needed. Trickier tamp, but fully closed-loop.
