Dishwasher cycles to visible failure
How many standard dishwasher cycles a product survives before finish, seal or print degrades.
Run a 65 °C standard cycle with a standard commercial detergent tablet, top rack where the manufacturer requires it. Inspect after every 10 cycles for gasket swelling, print loss, discolouration and seal failure (re-tested against the seal integrity protocol). Stopped at 300 cycles.

Heat retention over six hours
How hot a filled vessel still is six hours after sealing, measured at room temperature.
Fill to the stated capacity with water at 95 °C, seal, and rest on a wooden bench at 20 °C ±1 °C with no direct sun. Record the internal liquid temperature at 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours with a probe thermometer inserted through the drink opening. The published figure is the six-hour reading.

Lid teardown and reassembly
How long it takes to fully disassemble a lid for cleaning and put it back together correctly.
Starting from an assembled, dry lid, remove every user-serviceable part (gaskets, seals, sliders) by hand with no tools, then reassemble to a sealing state. Timed three times; the median is published. A lid that cannot be disassembled by hand is recorded as not serviceable.

Measured empty weight
The weight of the product as it is carried: fully assembled, dry and empty, including the lid and any sleeve supplied in the box.
Assemble the product as sold, ensure it is completely dry inside and out, and place it on a calibrated digital scale zeroed to the bare bench. Record to the nearest gram. Weighed three times with the product removed and replaced between readings; the median is published. Any accessory not supplied in the box is excluded.

Seal integrity (inversion and shake)
How much liquid escapes a sealed vessel when it is inverted and shaken like a bag commute.
Fill to 90% of capacity with water at 20 °C, close as the manufacturer instructs, invert for 60 seconds, then shake vertically 30 times through a 30 cm stroke. Blot and weigh the escaped water. Repeated three times per sample with the lid reseated each time.
Equipment: Precision scale (0.01 g), absorbent pad, stopwatch
